RODBENDERS April 05 NEWSLETTER
|
Decent weather and water temps greeted the anglers that chose to make the three hour trek East. Many anglers found either prespawn or spawners guarding nests. The participation fell off this month as sixteen anglers brought in a total of 39 fish at 82.00 pounds - a 2.10 lb average. First place went to Dan Harris and James Cannon with a heavy 10 fish stringer weighing 25.10 pounds. Coming in a distant second place was Martin Kralik and John Duhon with a nice 9 fish stringer that weighed 19.09 pounds. Points leader Dave Jones and Jason Hill finished in third place (again) with 8 fish at 15.87 pounds. Big Bass of the event went to Dan Harris with a 5.04 pound lunker. Thanks to everyone that made the haul, we hope to see more boats next month at McGee Creek. Good job guys. |
