Due to unforseen circumstances, two newsletters have been combined into one…the points include both tournaments and meeting points. |
December 3rd, 2005, Lake Welsh
|
The club fish Lake Welsh on December 3rd, and as usual the little lake did not disappoint for those that she blessed with big bites. It was the Joe Singel and Wayne Kralik show, as these boys schooled us on the fine art of putting together a sack of over 18" fish. Joe's individual stringer ranks high in the all time Rodbenders individual stringers, so much applause should be showered on those gents for a fine day. Eighteen anglers weighed in 14 keepers at a total weight of 60.31 pounds, a 4.31 average. As mentioned above Wayne Kralik and Joe Singel took first place by a long shot, with 6 fish weighing 26.71 pounds, anchored by Joe's big bass at 5.74 pounds. Coming in a distant second place was Jason Hill and Dave Jones with a 3 fish stringer that weighed 11.91 pounds. Third place was the team of Tony South and Jeff Cade with 2 fish at 7.69 pounds. Big Bass of the event, as stated above went to Joe Singel with a 5.74 pound fish, although he had another one in the sack that looked identical! Good job guys. |
