RODBENDERS February 05 NEWSLETTER

Attached are the results after the February 5th tournament at Lake Fork. Somewhat mild weather for early February welcomed our club to Lake Fork.  The lake seemed in great shape after a wet fall and winter, with hydrilla showing up in amounts that haven't been seen there in quite a few years.  Twenty-three anglers tackled the prespawn bass of Fork to bring in a total of 38 fish (paper) at 114.35 pounds - a 3.01 lb average.  First place went to Paul Armstrong with a strong 5 fish stringer weighing 20.61 pounds.  Coming in second place was Mike Millender with a nice 5 fish stringer that weighed 16.91 pounds. Martin Kralik finished in third place with 4 fish at 12.63 pounds.  Fourth place went to Jeff Cade with 3 fish at 9.24.  In fifth place was Frank Hawkinson with 5 fish at 9.39 pounds.  Sixth place was Danny Jones with 2 fish at 6.32 pounds.  Big Bass of the event went to Jeff Cade with a 9.24 pound monster (paper weight). Thanks to everyone who participated, we had 12 boats this event, keep the momentum going.   Good job guys.
