Our club went out and did the two day show on Cypress Springs and Bob Sandlin last month. We had a great turnout, as over 30 anglers came out and wet their lines for two days in East Texas. Riley Hamilton and Cody Spoerl kept themselves on the radar, adding to what's been a consistent year for their team, by putting together two consistent days of team stringers. They took first place overall with 20 fish at 35.67 pounds. Bringing in a very close second was the team of Charlie Abbott and Steve Kralik with a nice 18 fish stringer that weighed in at 34.65 pounds. Coming in a not too distant third place was the team of Martin Kralik and Mark Miller 19 fish that pegged the scales at 32.88 pounds. Charlie Abbott also won the Big Bass pot with a nice 5.60 pound hawg. We had a great turnout with 31 anglers competing and bringing in 174 fish weighing in a total of 303.60 pounds, a 1.74 pound average. Thanks to everyone for participating and congratulations to the winners. We hope to see everyone next month at Lake Fork. |
