The Easter Bunnies visited the club early in the form of a few local jackpotters (as opposed to jackrabbits). The lake was a little off overall due to some cooler temps the week prior, but some guys still managed impressive sacks. The participation is up again as twenty-eight anglers brought in a total of 40 fish at 96.58 pounds - a 2.41 lb average. First place went to Terry Hayley and Randy Brown with a strong 7 fish stringer weighing 18.24 pounds. Coming in a close second place was Mike Millender and Tim Hall with a nice 6 fish stringer that weighed 17.53 pounds. Points leader Dave Jones and Jason Hill finished in third place with 7 fish at 13.46 pounds. Big Bass of the event went to Frank Hawkinson with a 6.26 pound lunker. Thanks to everyone who participated, we had 14 boats this event, keep the momentum going -- by the end of the season, we may get 18 boats yet!! Good job guys. |
