The club fish Lake Winnsboro on March 4th, despite the lake being lower than usual. The little lake east of Lake Fork didn't disappoint as several good stringers of fish came to the scales. We lucked out on the date, because three tournaments were held there on the following day and the ramp was a crowded mess. Martin Kralik and John Duhon squeaked out a tight victory over Tim Hall and Mike Millender, with only a little less than a pound between first and second. Martin and John brought 6 fish to the scales weighing in at 20.30 pounds, while Tim and Mike brought 5 fish to the scales weighing in at 19.45. Coming in a close third was the team of Ronnie Baker and Frank Hawkinson with 6 fish at 18.62 pounds. Big Bass of the event went to Martin Kralik with a 5.62 pound hawg. We had 21 anglers competing and bringing in 35 fish weighing in a total of 105.09 pounds, a 3.00 pound average. Thanks to everyone for participating and congratulations to the winners. |
