The club fished Lake Cypress Springs on March 3rd this year, and it
      seemed as though a few fish were starting to move up for the spawn
      but not yet locked onto nests, despite the full moon.  Also, the
      water was more off-colored than typical for Cypress Springs.  Thirty
      (30) competitors brought in 45 fish weighing in 114.02 pounds, a
      2.53 pound average.  Most of the teams reported catching their fish
      shallow, but in the very mouth of the creeks or on main lake.  No
      team brought in a 10 fish limit.  First place went to the team of
      Martin Kralik and John Duhon with eight fish at 25.03 pounds. Coming
      in second place were Jason Hill and Michael Kurys with 7 fish at
      20.09 pounds.  Third place went to Tony South and Jeff Cade, who had
      6 fish that weighed 18.93 pounds.  Michael Kurys won big bass of the
      event with a 6.73 pound fish that now takes over the lead in our
      annual Big Bass of the Year competition.  Thanks to everyone for
