The club ventured to reliable Lake Winnsboro this past March, and the lake proved tough this time around.  Very muddy water and cold temps kept many anglers from bringing keepers to the scales.  Some guys still put some nice fish on the scales, however, and managed to put some patterns together.  Rattle traps and surface frogs seemed to be the winning patterns.  Two fish over six pounds were brought to the scales, reminding us of the quality this little lake can produce.   In first place was the team of Jason Hill and Dave Jones, with a four fish stringer at 14.71 pounds.  A close second place went to the team of Mike Millender and David Gillmore with four fish at 11.60 pounds.  Coming in third place was the team of Darrel Thompson and David Bickel with one fish at 6.37 pounds.   Big bass of the event went to Jason Hill with a nice 6.58 pound hawg.  Twenty-five anglers total brought in 15 bass at 46.66 pounds, a 3.11 pound average.  Thanks to everyone for participating and congratulations to the winners.
