RODBENDERS December 2004 NEWSLETTER

Attached are the results after the November 6th tournament at Lake Welsh.  The little power plant lake did not disappoint this year, even though only a few teams managed keepers, most anglers reported catching some decent fish.  For an 18 inch minimum lake, these types of weigh ins are typical.  Twenty competitors hit the water and brought in a total of 8 fish at 36.77 pounds - a 4.60 lb average.  First place went to Martin Kralik and Charles Abbott with a fine 3 fish stringer weighing 17.56 pounds.  (He lost a huge one at the boat, so the whippin' could have been worse!) Coming in second place was the team of Jason Hill and Brian Lee, with a 2 fish stringer at 7.85 pounds.  Wayne Kralik and Joe Singel pulled into third place with 1 fish at 4.31 pounds.  Big Bass of the event went to Martin Kralik with a 7.79 pound fish that took over Big Bass of the Year honors from Dave Jones!  The bar has been raised!  Thanks to everyone who participated, we had 10 boats this event, keep the momentum going.                Good job guys.
