RODBENDERS June 2004 NEWSLETTER

Attached are the results after the June 5th - 6th tournament at Broken Bow Lake, OK.  The lake was tough on us this year, for some reason.  After many tournaments of large numbers of fish, our group had a tough time putting together some limits of decent keepers on both days.  The teams that did manage some fish seemed to be in the right place at the right time.  Thanks to everyone for participating and making the trip.  More times than not this lake will give up some great days on the water.  A total of 61 fish were weighed in at a total of 49.49 pounds, a 0.81 lb average.  First place went to Martin Kralik and John Duhon with a 15 fish, 14.88 pound stringer.  Coming in second place were Day 1 leaders Tony South and John Galloway with a 14 fish, 10.70 pound sack. Third place went to the team of Wayne Kralik and Joe Singel, with 6 fish at 6.02 pounds. It was stated erroneously at the weigh in that Tim Stevens and Josh Flores came out third, but a typo error on the weigh sheet resulted in the above correction. This did not affect the payout as only the top two places were paid out. Big Bass of the event went to Joe Singel with a nice 3.51 pound smallmouth.
